Aging in Dog Years?

DOES A DOG REALLY AGE 7 YEARS TO OUR 1?
Not exactly but the formula is often used as a good rule of thumb. Different breeds of dogs will age differently (generally large or giant breeds age much faster than the smaller breeds) but all dogs age much more rapidly than humans. By one to two years of age, dogs have already reached maturity and are considered adults and by 7-10 years of age, dogs are considered senior citizens.
